ABOUT PROFROME UK LIMITED
Proforme started life in 2000, as a gate manufacturer under the name of Proforge where we made wrought iron gates and railings for the trade and domestic customer. Within a year we had started to fit gate automation to our gates to make access easy for our customers. We very quickly realized that making life easy for our customers was very important to them and decided that from there on we would build a business around making life easy and enjoyable for all of our future customers at all costs.
From making and fitting electric gates we noticed that the supply of gate automation was not as well managed as it could be, with items out of stock and courier delivery's being unreliable. We then set out to provide a service to the trade and domestic customer that would be flawless in its execution and provide the support and customer services that customers deserve.
As we expanded and through the need to stay dry in the Great British weather we moved into the field of marquee sales. Suppling marquees to our customers to keep them dry in wet weather quickly grew into a full time job and in 2006 Proforme UK was being born as we decided to split the two sides of the company into electric gates & marquee sales.
In March 2007 Proforme UK Limited was registered and with Proforme Bigmarquees being run on one side and Proforme Automations on the other we very quickly become one of the country's leading Gate Automation Distributors and One of the country's biggest retailers of marquees and party tents.
